How You (and the network) Did Last Week - 3/7/17

Winner of the Week:
Do317 + HazTJ

We've got organic success stretching from the Rust Belt to below the belt (if you're weird and consider the Rio Grande to be North America's belt). Idioms aside, check the full story below:
  1. Existing search volume
  2. Good on page-optimization (URL and page title feature search keyword, short description text that explains the list)
  3. Good content not readily available on other sites, some of which that gets pulled into site links on the search results page
  4. Links to the page from high domain authority sites, in this case, the official First Friday neighborhood site
  5. Low to moderate competition from other sites for the searched content (second highest ranking page in search is a related Facebook location)

Put it all together, and Do317 ranks first when people search for First Friday events. Which may not seem like much, but it was good enough for 11K+ people landing on that page last year, making it their 7th most popular page in 2016.
  • HazTJ: Tijuana had their highest week of traffic in over 4 months thanks to the continued success of their organic traffic to event pages (Reik was last week's leader) and an added boost thanks to the Facebook popularity of their Maluma show announce
Want tips on building out the right organic content? Or Facebook boosting? Or just want to kick around some audience growth ideas you've got? We're only an email away. And last week's numbers? They're just a click away -
