How You (and the network) Did Last Week - 3/21/17

Winner of the Week:
Do210 + Do512

Just like all of your exes, all of this week's winners live in Texas. BUT WAIT - lest ye be tempted to skip over the rolled up network data and go straight to your metro...last week was the first time in DoStuff history that combined traffic to all sites crossed 500,000 sessions! So give yourself a hearty pat on the back for contributing to a monumental landmark. Now about those couple of Texas metros:
  • Do210: San Antonio had by far their highest week of traffic of all time thanks to the Tejano Music Awards Fan Fair's popularity on multiple channels. The flood gates opened thanks to this post shared by the event's official Facebook page to its 87K+ followers. That event also generated a spike of organic traffic to the Market Square venue where it was taking place, to the tune of a thousand plus clicks to Do210 after searching for things like "Market Square events." Yet another example of how any relationship at all with large outdoor events or music awards can benefit your metro.
  • Do512: Of course, the network wouldn't be anywhere near the 500K mark if it weren't for Do512's 310K sessions last week at the height of SX. Other highlights outside of their main web offerings included the 50K+ app sessions that lasted over 7 minutes on average, and expanded Facebook live streaming of their SX events that generated over 25K+ video views. And that's not even including all the interaction on their clever video promo for the app, which they unveiled at the start of SX. After yet another year of the fest in the books, Do512 has earned a week of taking their own advice
Now that both SX and the 500K mark are in the rear view mirror, we'll be doing everything possible to blow past the next audience benchmarks (1 million?!) In the meantime, your stats from the week prior -
