Happy Tuesday! Hopefully all continental US metros had a nice 3-day weekend. We'll pick up the standard weekly updates this coming Monday, but for the time being, we'll leave you with some highlights from our first comprehensive before-and-after report on the 6 metros sending daily emails:
  • Twice as many unique subscribers open at least one email per week on dailies compared to weeklies
     
  • Three to four times as many unique subscribers click at least one email per weekon dailies compared to weeklies.
     
  • Metros that switch to dailies receive 3-4X as much site traffic from email as they did on weeklies
     
  • Average unsubscribe rate per campaign is one-third lower when metros switch to dailies from weeklies
     
Take a look at the full data on the 6 metros that are sending daily emails and their performance post-transition compared to the same number of weeks prior to the switch. Then ask yourself if you're missing out on similar engagement fireworks in your market.
